About The Silent Professional

TSP, The Silent Professional, leads the People’s Charter Movement: a UK campaign with one stated aim, a nationwide referendum on a codified constitution built on popular sovereignty. Here is who is behind it, what it publishes and the standards it works to.

03How we work

Editorial standards

A case for accountable government has to be accountable in how it is made. Every TSP essay follows a recorded path from first draft to publication, and every factual claim in it carries a verification status.

The publishing workflow

  1. Stage 1

    Draft

Being written and revised. Work in progress, not for publication.

  2. Stage 2

    In review

An editor reads the text and tests each factual claim against its source.

  3. Stage 3

    Approved

Cleared by the editor and ready to go live.

  4. Stage 4

    Published

    Public on this site.

  5. Stage 5

    Archived

Taken out of current listings and kept on file.

Every claim has a status

Alongside the workflow, each factual claim is tracked on its own. A piece cannot be published while any claim flagged in it is still unresolved.

  • Not reviewedNobody has checked the claim yet.
  • Needs verificationA source is missing, or the one given has not been confirmed.
  • Verified by editorAn editor has traced the claim back to its source.
  • Correction requiredThe claim or its source does not hold up and must be corrected.
  • Approved for publicationThe claim and its source are cleared to appear in print.

Three standards

  1. Argument is labelled as argument

Essays and statements make a case and say so openly. The factual claims inside them face a separate test: could a reader check them?

  2. No statistic without a source

A figure is printed only when it can be traced to where it came from. One that cannot is held back until it can be, or the author removes it.

  3. Corrections leave a record

When published work needs correcting, the change is logged and the original wording is kept, so it is always clear what was altered.

04Principles

What TSP stands for

TSP Media’s five core values, in its own words. Each states a principle; the full text adds the stance TSP Media takes on it.

  • Popular Sovereignty & Entrenched Constitutionalism

Ultimate power belongs exclusively to the people, permanently superseding any temporary parliamentary majority or unhindered legislative dictatorship.

  • Radical Realism & Uncompromising Pragmatism

History is not changed by sterile ideological purity tests; it is shaped by builders, entrepreneurs, architects, and visionaries who understand what it actually takes to achieve historic constitutional objectives in a David versus Goliath landscape.

  • Absolute Institutional Accountability

Public servants are servants, not masters.

  • The Voice of the Common-Sense Majority

A nation belongs to the people who live in it, work it, and build its future across every community and background.

  • Absolute Transparency & Unflinching Truth

Trust is earned through total clarity, not corporate spin or political correctness.

  • Core Brand Values & Principles

Every value with its brand stance, and the ways to take your stand.

05Commitments

What we will not do

Some things are ruled out from the start. Each of these can be checked against how the site actually works.

  1. 01

We will not Ask how you vote

Signing up, joining or getting in touch never requires you to tell TSP which party you support.

  2. 02

We will not Contact your MP for you

The Action Hub helps you prepare a letter. Whether and how it is sent is your decision alone. TSP never writes to an MP in your name.

  3. 03

We will not Print an unverified figure

If a number has not been verified, it does not appear, however useful it might be to the argument.

  4. 04

We will not Run advertising trackers here

This site runs no advertising or tracking scripts. Visits are counted in aggregate, without cookies, and embedded video stays switched off until you choose to play it.

  5. 05

We will not Take payment before the terms exist

Inner Circle subscriptions and donations stay closed until their terms, and the checks that must come first, are confirmed.

06The team

The people behind the work

TSP does not work alone. In the movement’s own words, a message to TSP reaches “our dedicated team”.

TSP leads the work. Names and roles for the rest of the team will be listed here once they are confirmed for publication.

07Publishing

TSP Media

TSP Media is TSP’s company: the publisher of this website and of the movement’s essays, statements and video feed.

Its visual identity is deliberately spare: pure black, pure white and an aperture symbol, with nothing in between. The logos, the symbol and the rules for using them are collected in the brand and press kit.
